Presiden Libya Muammar Gadaffi telah mengajak semua negara Arab agar membuka pintu sempadan mereka untuk membolehkan sukarelawan Libya memasuki Israel.

Lebih 100,000 orang telah berhimpun di Tripoli menunjuk perasaan mengutuk keganasan Israel terhadap Palestin. Muammar Gadaffi telah berucap kepada perhimpunan itu dan berkata: 'Libya meminta negara-negara Arab membuka sempadan mereka untuk membenarkan sukarelawan Libya pergi ke Al Qods (Jerusalem) untuk membantu Abu Ammar (Yasser Arafat)'

Gadaffi telah mengecam negara Arab yang tidak berapa bertenaga sambil menyoal mereka 'Kenapakah anda menghabiskan berjuta dollar memperkasakan ketenteraan anda kalau semua itu tidak digunakan untuk membantu wanita dan kanak-kanak Palestin?'

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafy has called for Arab countries to open their frontiers to allow volunteers from Libya to march on Israel.

More than 100,000 people demonstrated in Tripoli against the repressive policy of Israel against the Palestinians. The Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafy, presided over the demonstration, claiming that 'Libya asks the Arab countries to open their frontiers to let through the Libyan volunteers who wish to travel to Al-Qods (Jerusalem) to help Abu Ammar (Yasser Arafat)'.

Gaddafi attacked Arab countries for not doing more, asking 'Why do you spend millions on reinforcing your armies if these do not serve to help the women and children of Palestine?'
